Tube ice machine and ice shaver
Freeze juice into tubes first, then shave them into snow. Two machines working together, not a choice between them.
120–1600 W · 6–12 moulds · one unit minimum · LCL shipping · quote confirmed per model
Two steps in one business. The icicle machine freezes juice, milk tea or yogurt in cylindrical moulds into solid tubes. The shaver clamps a tube in place and spins a blade disc to shave it into snow or crushed ice. From this factory we list five models: three multi-mould icicle machines and two shavers, in 220 V and 110 V versions. The same catalogue also has a four-barrel machine we did not list — its product page never states a model number from top to bottom. Invent one and the factory cannot match it when you ask for a price, so we left that row out rather than fill it.
A pair of machines
One only freezes, one only shaves.
The icicle machine is a stainless cabinet holding a row of cylindrical moulds, each filled with a different colour. Load, set the temperature, and it stops when the batch is done and restarts as it warms — nobody has to watch it. Take the frozen tubes out, clamp one into the shaver, press a button and the blade disc turns it into snow. An icicle machine alone gives you whole tubes you cannot sell. A shaver alone means buying tubes elsewhere. Both together make a complete line.
- Icicle machine: mix in, tubes out, one batch at a time
- Shaver: tube clamped in, snow out, shaved to order
- Mould count sets how many colours per batch, not how fast you shave
How many moulds
Mould count decides how many flavours you can prep in a day.
Six moulds is the entry point, enough for one shop’s daily base. Eight moulds freezes eight colours at once — a good look on display, and shops that trade on photos get real value from it. The twelve-mould unit is rated 160 L/24h and suits queue shops, tourist sites, or small workshops supplying other stores: freeze tomorrow’s whole volume in one go and open the next morning ready. All moulds are cylindrical, so every tube comes out the same shape and clamps properly in the shaver — that matters more to consistency than the mould count itself.
- 6 moulds: single shop starting point, one day’s base volume
- 8 moulds: a wider flavour spread, more choice on display
- 12 moulds / 160 L/24h: a full day in one batch, or supply to other shops
- Cylindrical moulds mean uniform tubes that clamp securely for shaving
Voltage is the easiest thing to get wrong
The shaver comes in a 110 V version.
QLB-120 is 220 V / 50 ~ 60 Hz in an orange housing; QLB-120B-1 is 110 V / 60 Hz in white. The mechanism is the same, the voltage is not — on a 110 V grid such as North America or Japan the second version needs no external transformer, just a socket. On the icicle machines, the 12-mould and 8-mould nameplates read 220 V / 50 Hz; the factory has not stated voltage for the 6-mould unit and we confirm it before quoting.
- 220 V grid → QLB-120
- 110 V grid (North America, Japan) → QLB-120B-1
- Tell us destination and site voltage before ordering and we match the grid
2 styles, 5 models.
Start with the style. One family is the multi-mould tube maker — 6 to 12 moulds in a single cabinet, freezing a batch of ice tubes at a time. The other is the shaver, which clamps a tube and shaves it into snow. The two are used as a pair.
Multi-mould tube maker
6, 8 or 12 cylindrical moulds in one cabinet. Fill with juice, milk tea or yoghurt; five to eight hours later you have ice tubes. It cuts out at temperature and restarts on rise automatically. Mould count is how many colours you can have ready at once.

Ice shaver
The next step once a tube is frozen: clamp it in, press one button, and it shaves into snow. Blade disc thickness is adjustable — fine shaves like snow, coarse shaves like crushed ice. Drawing 120 W, so an ordinary socket will carry it. Together with the tube maker it forms a two-machine setup.

The factory has not given packing dimensions for this group, so container load is calculated per model once you have chosen — the quotation states how many units fit in one container.

Who it suits — and who it does not.
We write down the bad fits too. Freight on a wrongly bought machine costs more than the machine; better to be clear from the start.
Good fit
- Dessert and cold drink shops selling shaved ice and snow ice
- Shops that already own an icicle machine and only need a shaver
- Tourist sites, night markets and delivery counters — freeze a batch, sell it slowly
- Shops that sell on colour, one mould one colour
- Traders exporting to North America or Japan who need the 110 V shaver
Probably not
- Buying only the shaver with no tube supply — solve where tubes come from first
- Buying only the icicle machine expecting finished product — tubes still need shaving
- Soft serve or cone products — that is a gelato machine, not this group
- Industrial continuous production — this is shop and small workshop equipment
Common questions.
Do I have to buy both machines?
It depends where you start. Beginning from juice and milk tea, you need both. If tubes or blocks are already available locally, the shaver alone is enough. The reverse is not true: an icicle machine on its own gives you whole tubes you cannot sell.
How long does one tube take to freeze?
The factory gave no per-tube time, only machine output — 160 L/24h on the twelve-mould unit. Real time depends on sugar content, initial mix temperature and room temperature. Freeze one batch and record the time before setting a daily prep schedule.
Can the shaver take ordinary ice blocks?
The factory spec is tubes, up to 18 cm. Ordinary blocks are irregular and will not clamp; forcing one puts an uneven load on the blade disc. Shaving blocks needs a dedicated block shaver, not this machine.
Is the blade thickness adjustable?
Yes. Thickness adjusts, so one tube comes out as fine snow or as crushed ice with a turn of the dial — that flexibility is part of why these machines work in a small shop.
What differs between the 110 V and 220 V shavers?
The mechanism is identical, only voltage and housing colour differ. QLB-120 is 220 V / 50 ~ 60 Hz in orange; QLB-120B-1 is 110 V / 60 Hz in white. On a 110 V grid, take the second and skip the transformer.
Why is the four-barrel machine not listed?
The factory product page never states a model number, and the nameplate photo does not either. If we invented one, the factory could not match it when you ask for a price, and the quote would not line up with the machine you receive. The moment the factory issues an official model number, we add the row.
